NAPLES, Fla. — It was a wonderful Wednesday night of futbol in Collier County as FC Naples hosted a big game against Red Force FC.
This match was part of the first round of the 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, the oldest ongoing soccer tournament in the country.
This event has been around for over 110 years, and on Wednesday, FC Naples took part for the second time in its two years as a club.
The home team got things rolling with two goals in the first 30 minutes, and they didn’t look back, winning their third match of the season in a 3-0 shutout.
