Physicians Regional and FC Naples Support Habitat for Humanity
COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Angela Cisneros Nieves is just months away from moving into her new Habitat for Humanity home in Collier County, a milestone she describes as a dream come true for her and her daughter.
“I feel very excited. It’s a big dream for me and my daughter,” Cisneros Nieves said.
The new community, called Las Palmas, is being built near Plateau Road and Broken Back Road. Habitat for Humanity Collier County is constructing 210 single-family homes to provide affordable housing for families in the area.
“Habitat for Humanity of Collier County is actually the most productive Habitat affiliate in the country. We build more homes than anyone else, and it takes a lot of work behind the scenes,” said Kara Koulouheras of Habitat for Humanity Collier.
On-site, volunteers from FC Naples and Physicians Regional Medical Group worked together on tasks such as painting, building frames, and cutting wood planks.
“Angela is one of our employees. We’re excited for her and her family to be able to have a home that they can call their own,” said Scott Lowe, CEO of Physicians Regional Medical Group.
“I think doing the work and seeing everybody roll up their sleeves and doing different things, that’s my favorite part for sure,” said Roberto Moreno of FC Naples.
