Southwest Florida’s first professional soccer team kicked off a wildly successful inaugural season in March with a 1-1 draw against the Chattanooga Red Wolves SC before a sold-out crowd at the Paradise Sports Complex in Naples.
Despite being projected to finish at or near the bottom of the USL League One standings, FC Naples went 13-9-8 during the regular season, becoming the first expansion team in league history to reach the playoffs and host a postseason game.
