NAPLES, Fla. —
History was made Saturday night at Paradise Coast Sports Complex. In its first-ever season, FC Naples clinched a home playoff game with a 2–0 win over the Charlotte Independence.
After a scoreless first half filled with missed chances, forward Karsen Henderlong broke through in the second — scoring both goals for Naples, including a penalty kick that sealed the victory.
The win, combined with Union Omaha’s draw against Spokane, moved Naples into the No. 4 seed, securing home-field advantage in the opening round of the playoffs.
