Naples, FL – [July 2, 2026] – FC Naples is excited to announce the signing of midfielder Omar Ciss, pending league and federation approval.
Ciss joins FC Naples after spending four seasons with Charlotte Independence in USL League One, where he made 111 appearances and scored nine goals. The Senegal native established himself as a consistent presence in midfield, bringing experience, composure, and versatility to one of the league’s most competitive clubs.
Prior to his time with Charlotte Independence, Ciss developed at Montverde Academy in Central Florida before beginning his professional career with Austin Bold FC in the USL Championship. Since turning professional, he has built an impressive résumé across more than 140 professional appearances in the United States.
Ciss adds valuable experience to the FC Naples midfield as the club continues its 2026 campaign. His ability to control possession, contribute on both sides of the ball, and compete at a high level makes him an important addition to the squad ahead of the second half of the season.
