NAPLES, FL – [July 29, 2026] – FC Naples today announced the launch of an international search for a Sporting Director, a dedicated executive position that will oversee the club’s soccer operations, with a view towards the medium- and long-term strategic goals. The move reflects FC Naples’ ongoing commitment to strengthening its technical infrastructure for sustained competitive success.
The Sporting Director will work closely with the club’s front office leadership to guide all aspects of the football operations. Responsibilities will include roster construction and player recruitment, domestic and international scouting, contract and transfer management, technical staff oversight, and long-term competitive strategy for the USL League One franchise. The hire underscores FC Naples’ intent to expand its soccer operations infrastructure as the club matures.
